The goal of this 7-day accelerated program Boot Camp certification class is to provide network professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to implement Cisco ASA firewall and VPN technology. The training class provides an individual with professional level recognition in designing and implementing Cisco security technologies using the Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) technologies, especially firewall and VPN functionality. Other topics include ACL, AAA, advanced protocol handling, remote access VPN, secure socket layer VPN, site-to-site VPNs, failover, and security appliance management. Cisco ASA Specialists possess the ability to describe, configure, verify and manage the ASA products and the Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM).
Boot Camp Training Class Curriculum
Students that successfully complete this certification program will be able to install, configure, operate, troubleshoot, and design small to medium-size routed and switched networks. Each training day is segmented into Lecture, Lab, and Review components that cater to a student’s multiple learning styles (auditory, visual, and kinesthetic-tactual). Our program covers the following material:
Day 1 to Day 4 SNAF/Testing
Day 5 to Day 7 SNAA/Testing
Cisco ASA Specialist Exam Track
Cisco security certifications focus on the growing need for knowledgeable network professionals who can implement complete security solutions. This Specialist certification identifies individuals who possess in-depth expertise with implementing security technologies using the Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) technologies, especially firewall and VPN functionality. Other topics include ACL, AAA, advanced protocol handling, remote access VPN, secure socket layer VPN, site-to-site VPNs, failover, and security appliance management. Cisco ASA Specialists possess the ability to describe, configure, verify and manage the ASA products and the Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM).
During Training Camp’s Program the student will take a total of two (2) examinations as outlined below.
